Abused Children's Fund

Aviva’s Abused Children’s Fund: what is it and what is it for?

The Abused Children's Fund (ACF) is a community donations fund used for special needs of children who are in the care of Child Protective Services – for needs that are not met by the State or by other existing resources. The main focuses of the ACF are to provide things that promote children’s development and improve their self-esteem and to fund things that help provide physical security for children.

Some examples include basketball shoes, YMCA registration, prom dress and shoes, baseball, football, or basketball camp and birthday gifts. The fund also provides for the necessities like food, formula, diapers, shoes, cribs or beds and new underwear and socks.

Your contribution helps Aviva honor the dignity of children and families by providing services that cannot be covered with other resources. It allows us to help the children in care be “typical” children and not be set apart because of occurrences out of their control.
