When you make a charitable contribution to the Abused Children's Fund, 100% of your donation goes directly to Tucson children and families. No portion of your contribution is used for overhead or administrative costs.

These funds are distributed on an "as-needed" basis, at the request of a case worker. Some of these funds are used to pay for furniture, formula, bus passes and food vouchers as well as extra-curricular school activities, including sports team fees or uniforms, shoes, school supplies, or tutoring.

Often, families are just one or two steps away from being reunited. They may need temporary assistance with utilities or rent in order to reunify with their children.  Or, the children may not have been removed and the family is voluntarily working with a case manager in the recently established In-Home Care units.  Poverty is a huge issue for a lot of these families and the Abused Children Fund is used to supply them with necessary resources.

Your contribution helps Aviva honor the dignity of these families and children by providing services that cannot be covered with other resources.
